IFR procedures

  • CAT A/B IGS (NPA) RWY 27 instrument arrival procedure can be performed only by Operators authorized by Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC).
  • The request of authorization shall be forwarded to Enac by means of the Aerodrome AVDA s.p.a.
  • Documentation containing the details referring to the operative procedures, familiarization, training and qualification of the pilot in command necessary to obtain the required ENAC authorization is available, on request, on the Aerodrome Operator AVDA s.p.a.
  • Documentation listed above is valid also for State flight operators with the exclusion of the authorization given by ENAC
VFR procedures

VFR procedures

All VFR traffic , intending to fly in the vicinity of the instrument approach procedure paths, shall establish radio contact with the appropriate ATS unit (Milano FIC/AAC, Aosta AFIU) in order to obtain information about the possible presence of aircraft performing the instrumental approach procedure and shall keep out the way of such aircraft with reference to the published procedure path, including missed approach.
VFR Glider

Glider activities landing procedures

All glider pilots are going to land must make the following radio calls:

  • For RWY 09
    • Report before entering the airport traffic circuit pattern and proceed to the "PRENOTAZIONE POINT"
    • Report when in "PRENOTAZIONE POINT" at 400m to the verticalof the town of Pollein (South-West of THR09)
    • Report when starting procedure at 300m before overflying the field
    • Normal circuit calls
  • For RWY 27
    • Report before entering the airport traffic circuit pattern and proceed to the "PRENOTAZIONE POINT"
    • Report when in "PRENOTAZIONE POINT" abeam north of the TWR building
    • Report when starting procedure at 300m before overflying the field
    • Normal circuit calls
